Encryption Methods
So after running some tests today using PHP's hash function I have found out that when using the hash function there is very little difference between sha1-512 and md5. However with PHPs built in md5 function it just BLOWS away the hash function. So I have come to the conclusion to use MD5 and salt my passwords. In the end if our database is ever compromised they will still have to regenerate their rainbow table for each password they want to find.

Well we finally are launching our new site. Some of the features like comments on the blogs are broken but its pretty slick.
